Greetings and welcome to the Division of Continuing Studies at the University of the Arts! 


Now is a perfect time for you to get acquainted with the wide variety of courses and programs geared towards all age groups and skill-levels. Offerings include classes for younger and teen artists in Pre-College programsContinuing Education courses and programs for adults, and graduate courses for educators within our Professional Institute for Educators, which features our MEd graduate programs. The Summer Music Studies program is exclusively for Music Educators and includes our MM in Music Education. There’s something for everyone ready to engage their creative side, build their skills, or advance their careers! 


For decades the University of the Arts has been recognized for its innovative approach towards educational experiences in and through the arts and technology for individuals of all skillsets and backgrounds. Our programs provide a dynamic and high-quality experience for life long learners.  Located in the heart of Philadelphia’s thriving Avenue of the Arts, we are conveniently located to transportation hubs.  We also offer our courses and programs for educators at numerous off-site locations throughout the greater Philadelphia region to meet teachers where they are located.


UArts’ Division of Continuing Studies’ rich history and current, dynamic programs taught by excellent faculty introduce students of all ages, professions, and levels to the highest quality arts, design, and educational practices available in the region.
