Designed for individuals with some exposure to the Adobe suite of design software, this course provides an overview of the fundamentals of Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. Topics include image resolution, scanning, importing and exporting images, print setup, photo adjustments and vector usage. Basic typography and design will also be addressed. You can expect to gain a better understanding of how the three programs work together to create products for print or the web.

This course provides a more advanced study of the complex technical and practical techniques of photography in relation to camera formats, photographic techniques and advanced image manipulation. As students develop these higher-level camera skills and apply them to their work, consideration is given to such topics as advanced exposure, low-light situations, off-camera flash, camera raw capture and raw file editing techniques. Prerequisite: Digital Photography II, Digital Media for Photographers - Lightroom or equivalent experience.

In this one-week intensive serves as an introduction to the methods and techniques of modeling, making a mold, casting and finishing a final piece. Learn to prepare an armature, set up the clay, scale the sculpture adn complete the process of modeling in water-based clay. The ablity to structure a modeled form and comprehend how to represent compound volumes are addressed through direct observation. The unique techniques of using silicone as a precise mold-making material are enhanced through discussion and demonstrations.
