Animation offers infinite possibilities for storytelling. In this hands-on course, students will learn how to create an animation, from storyboarding to basic post-production. We will start with a flip book project then move through other animation techniques including hand drawn, paper cut-out, and object/puppet animation. While the class will focus on non-digital animation techniques, it will cover simple editing skills through the use of Adobe Premiere. Students will also learn how to set up a home studio to continue creating animations after the course's conclusion.
