Course Resources

Students will need to purchase their own hosting and domain name. There are many different options for hosting and students are welcome to do their own research on what works best for them. I recommend A Small Orange. They provide excellent customer service and hosting starts as low as $5/month for a shared hosting plan. You can also use A Small Orange to purchase your domain name and receive a discount when bundled with hosting. Name cheap is also an affordable domain buying option and can be used to see if the domain you want is available. Hosting and domains can be purchased prior to class starting but we will dedicate some time on the first day of class to set up accounts and go over options.

Note: If you choose to go with a different hosting provider, please make sure it is able to host the latest version of WordPress. If you are unsure, please wait until our first session before making a decision.
