Studio Art Residencies

The Continuing Education department is pleased to offer these unique non-credit studio courses are designed for artists and art lovers seeking to explore a new media during an intensive one-week retreat on our Center City campus. An opportunity for anyone looking for a focused experience to create work in the studio. The experience includes a welcome breakfast, a luncheon with a keynote speaker, and a culminating reception on the last day. 

These studios are offered for professional development credit in collaboration with the Professional Institute for Educators, which serves the training needs of K-12 educators.


Note: UArts alumni receive the standard alumni discount for these programs!

Center City Philadelphia is accessible via the PA Turnpike and Interstate 95 or participants traveling to the region may wish to consider arriving via train or plane. Philadelphia is served by Amtrak’s 30th Street station, a convenient cab ride from our campus. Commuter train service via PATCO high speed line from New Jersey and SEPTA’s Regional Rail lines all stop within walking distance of our campus. The Philadelphia International Airport is located just southwest of the city and can be reached via cab or the R1 Regional Rail train line.
