Andrea Calabretta is a writer and editor whose curiosity about the world has taken her to four continents and more than twenty countries. Her writing has appeared in the Boston Globe, Literary Traveler, Plenty, Transitions Abroad, EthnoTraveler, The Not for Tourists Guide to Boston, Your Middle East, Tunisia Live, and elsewhere. She also writes for international aid and advocacy organizations including Human Rights Watch and the International Campaign for Tibet. Andrea spent a year as a Fulbright scholar in Sousse, Tunisia, immediately following the 2011 revolution, and she is currently at work on a travel memoir about that experience. She holds an MFA in creative nonfiction from Emerson College and is an editor for Litro, a London-based literary magazine.
