  • Creating Digital Books in the Classroom
    Explore the book as a vehicle for visual narrative, using digital book design as creative concept. Join artist Amanda D'Amico to combine Adobe Photoshop, primary image-making software, with InDesign for page layout. Work with text and image sequentially within diverse book structures.

  • Visual Arts for the Classroom: Drawing
    Drawing is the foundation of fine arts, crafts, media and design. Join artist Coy Gu to work from direct observation using still life,figure models and the urban landscape, work intensely on perception and technical skills.

  • Visual Arts for the Classroom: Oil Painting
    Join artist Joe Sweeney in the field (weather permitting) to evaluate the effects of light and color, refine technique, examine the principles and elements of composition using oil.
