Join faculty Christine Stoughton at the Norristown Arts Building for the 21st Annual Exhibition from December 1st to January 15th. Christine will also be part of the Open Studio & Reception on December 3rd from 1 - 5pm. Be sure to check out her prints, sculptures, and materials used to make them all.

PIE faculty Christopher Darway's work will be on display at the Hunterdon Art Museum in Clinton, NJ from September 17 to November 12 in a solo exhibition titled "Sculpural Jewelry". Christopher employs the design and engineering of tiny and not so tiny objects while he transforms materials through methods of forming and shaping. "Sculptural Jewelry" includes some of Christopher's well-known pieces, including his Wooden Ball Necklace, alongside his new Mechanical Brooch, which was created for this show.
Christopher will be at the Museum for an opening reception and artist talk on September 17. Come see his amazing sculptural jewelry and learn about his craft.

We all enjoyed a fabulous week of working in the studio, taking trips to area collections, and attending special events including an artist talk & book signing by Ennis Carter, a Keynote by Ben Volta, and closing exhibition. UArts PIE + MEd congratulates Chelsea Puglese, who earned her MEd in Educational Program Design, UArts in 2017. Chelsea is a K-6 art teacher with Abington School District, where she has taught for the past seven years. She has activated her Master's thesis, An Assessment-Based Elementary Art Curriculum, in her classroom, incorporating assessment methods she designed for her students while in the MEd program, with a focus on student self-assessment.
