Since the advent of the Haddonfield Arts and Crafts League in 1956, the goal of the Center has been to promote the creation and enjoyment of the visual arts. As a public art program serving the City of Philadelphia, the Mural Arts Program works in partnership with communities, grassroots organizations, city agencies, schools, and philanthropies to develop sustainable partnerships with community organizations in order to create murals that reflect the community's culture, history and vision; catalyze community development, neighborhood activism and civic pride; foster youth development through experiential art education and mentorship with professional artists; support artists and artisans in sharing their talents and experiences with youth and communities in Philadelphia and use the power of art and the mural design process as tools for community engagement, blight remediation, beautification, demonstration of civic pride and prevention, and rehabilitation of crime.
PAEP- Philadelphia Arts in Education Partnership

The mission of the Philadelphia Arts in Education Partnership (PAEP) is to promote learning in and through the arts for students in K-12 schools throughout southeastern Pennsylvania. We accomplish this mission by working with teachers, teaching artists, school districts, colleges and universities, and 82 arts and cultural organizations throughout the region to encourage excellence in arts-in-education practice, and to bring arts-based learning experiences to students who otherwise would have limited access to these opportunities.

The Louis N. Cassett Foundation is a trust formed in 1946 that gives primarily for cultural programs, social service and health agencies, and education; support also for community development, youth agencies,Unitarian churches, and Jewish organizations and temples.
Richard and Jean Coyne Family Foundation
To increase diversity in the field of visual communications, the Coyne Family Foundation currently funds programs managed by educational institutions and non-profit trade organizations that help economically disadvantaged high school students develop portfolios to qualify for admission to art school and/or provide college scholarships for economically disadvantaged students to study graphic design, advertising, photography and illustration.
