Contemporary Art + Studio Practice in Education
Art21 - Art in the 21st Century is a PBS documentary series, educational resource, archive and history of contemporary artists. It is broadcast in over 50 countries, with a new season every two years. Art21 is the only series on U.S. television to focus exclusively on contemporary visual art and artists. A nonprofit organization, Art21 makes contemporary art more accessible to the public and documents 21st century art and artists. Their goal is to raise the profile of major players in the world of contemporary art and to encourage creativity. Art:21 was nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Artistic and Cultural Programming.
Presented by the University of the Arts Department of Art + Design Education, and the Division of Continuing Studies.
