Welcome to the University of the Arts Pre-College Summer Institute—the country’s most dynamic summer program for high school students passionate about the visual and performing arts.
The exciting and immersive program, in the vibrant city of Philadelphia, enables you to experience art college, and learn from the same nationally recognized professors who teach in our undergraduate programs. Our acclaimed four-week residential programs reward you with three college credits and the unique opportunity to create your own schedule.
The Art, Media + Design program now includes a One-Week commuter Intensives for local high school students and new choices in concentrations, electives and workshops for residential students.
Our Dance program includes new classes that allow you to explore individual choreography and experimentation in new media.
Our Music program features our noteworthy faculty and this summer’s experience includes trips to local music venues and guest performances.
The Theater programs in both Acting and Musical Theater have new and unique class options as well as a shared core curriculum this summer.
